I got a used Whirlpool washer, not sure of the model number, and it only seems to work with Hot water. I have already checked the following:
– Cold water valve has pressure to it (sprayed myself in the face and made a mess, so I am sure)
– Hose does not have any kinks or clogs in it
– Screen on inside of the washer is not clogged and has been cleaned just in case.
Can anyone advise as to what to try next? I didn’t spend a lot on this washer, so I am hesitant to call a professional repairman. It would probably be more than I paid for the set. . .

When I turn the cold water tap (only cold water and only in the kitchen??) it has started making a really loud noise! The tap is a bit stiff as well? I’ve changed the washer, increased and decreased water pressure and still noisy?! Any thoughts!! Thank you!

my cold tap in the bathroom sink will not work at all except when the toilet cistern is filling up or the cold bath tap is running. . is this a washer problem,water pressure problem or do i need a new tap????
