I have been given a washer which has hot and cold water intake valves. but, the basement i live in does not have laundry taps. i know what kind of hoses to buy, Im just not sure if regular taps are safe. . . . if they can auto-shut off, etc. . . .
Can i buy an adapter for my shower outlet, if i remove the shower head? my concerns are water pressure saftey. would a regular tap have right wather pressure? Im in canada, if that matters.
Im not worried about draining.
THANKS

i can turn inlet valve closed and still have small drip of hot water. this is a gas water heater with no valve on the outlet. our laundry washer has low pressure also, but not as terrible as the kitchen and bath. PLEASE HELP. By the way, cold water is fine.
